Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to create stronger military families through Education, Empowerment, and Support. The Military Spouse Mentorship-HUB is helping to bridge military families from every branch of the Armed Forces and their surrounding communities in locations around the world through a Virtual Education and Resource Center, New Military Spouse Support Program, and Leadership Development Program. MSAN’s collaborations with official military installations, Department of Defense (DoD) resources, and trusted partner organizations provide a structured and personal approach through a one-of-a-kind peer-to-peer mentorship experience, building long-term connections to local and national resources expanding the military family sense of community.

Army spouses are eligible to join the Military Spouse Mentorship-HUB from anywhere in the world with access to 24/7 interactive support from professionally trained military spouse mentors. The virtual education and resource center provides access to vetted resources, educational courses, and toolkits tailored to the military lifestyle. Branch-specific forums and personalized profiles allow the ‘user’ to interact with the Mentorship-HUB community at their convenience and preference with the ability to save relevant resources, articles and follow topics of interest to him or her.

Founder and CEO of MSAN, Verenice Castillo, states, “Our innovative approach to mentorship through the Military Spouse Mentorship-HUB provides military spouses with tailored content and community to fit the unique challenges they may face along this journey. Our proactive approach to education and empowerment for new military spouses in specialized forums in the Mentorship-HUB instills an extra level of support and mentorship for our newest generation of military families on a mission to strengthen the total force and improve military retention.”

MSAN partnered with AER in January of 2021 with a commitment to bolster the support for Army Families around the world. The peer-centered approach to assisting military spouses and families aligns with the AER mission of ‘Soldiers Helping Soldiers’ since its inception in 1942. MSAN and AER will continue to support Army Families through their partnership and development of materials and assistance through every phase of the military journey
