The U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton community held its annual Army Emergency Relief fundraising event in the garrison commissary parking lot May 16, 2023.
The AER fund provides interest-free loans and grants to active-duty and retired U.S. Army Soldiers and their eligible Family members. AER is a private nonprofit organization that was established in 1942 to help Soldiers and their dependents in times of financial hardship.
The fund is supported by voluntary contributions from donors and investments made by the AER investment program.
